The London Fringe is one of London’s largest summer festivals. In 2018, we will host up to 50 theatre companies, 30 VisualFringe artists, and host workshops and panel discussions. 20,000 tickets will be sold at the door and on-line.

JOB POSTINGS:

 

Digital Engagement Coordinator

 

This position is funded through a grant and requires that the successful applicant will be returning to a post-secondary institution in the fall of 2018.
The position will report to the Executive Producer.

Key responsibilities include:
- Monitor and manage all Festival social media accounts; engage with social audience;
- Thinking creatively and outside the box to develop online audience;
- Assist in developing marketing plan to be followed throughout the festival;
- Creating digital photo library of all activities of the festival;
- Answering phones, emails, and responding to inquiries from patrons, artists;
- Assist in other aspects of the Fringe Festival: special events, volunteer support, and other duties as assigned.


The ideal candidate is:
- keen to work and learn in a busy and demanding environment;
- a self-starter and able to work independently when required;
- able to demonstrate an ability to work hard, a passion for independent arts and artists;
- comfortable with and has a working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

Term: May 7 – June 18 (7 weeks)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Pay: $15.00/hour; must be available evenings and weekends.

Administrative and Outreach Assistant

 

This position is funded through a grant and requires that the successful applicant will be returning to a post-secondary institution in the fall of 2018.

Key responsibilities include:
- Festival logistics including VisualFringe, special events and volunteer support
- Coordinating and facilitating community outreach events to promote the Fringe;
- General operations of the box office during the Fringe Festival;
- Answering phones, emails, and responding to inquiries from patrons, artists;
- Assist in other aspects of the Fringe Festival as assigned.

The ideal candidate is:
- keen to work and learn in a busy and demanding environment;
- a self-starter and able to work independently when required;
- able to demonstrate an ability to work hard, a passion for independent arts and artists;
- comfortable with and has a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Term: May 7 – June 18 (7 weeks)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Pay: $15.00/hour; must be available evenings and weekends.
